Job summary

Playfly Sports, a leading sports marketing and media company, is seeking an AR Credit & Collections Specialist in Berwyn, PA. The role partners with the corporate finance team to manage all open accounts receivable and reduce bad debt exposure.

You will provide updates on aged receivables and reports on collection efforts. This hybrid position supports the Credit & Collections Manager with daily communications and collaboration across divisions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of AR experience.
• Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
• Experience with Netsuite or similar system.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and escalate when needed.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding AR across divisions and follow up with customers on aged receivables.
• Assist with onboarding new customers into internal finance system.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely invoice processing.
• Research reasons for past due balances and notify customers.
• Document daily collection activity and provide updates via financial reporting.
• Identify bad debt exposure to sales and finance teams.
• Suggest improvements to the collections process.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

This AR Credit & Collections Specialist will work with the corporate finance team on the management of all open accounts receivable. The focus of the position will be internal & external daily communication in an effort to reduce outstanding receivables and mitigate any potential bad debt exposure. The person in this role will support the Credit & Collections Manager by providing updates on aged receivables and reports on collection efforts.

What You'll Accomplish

• Monitor outstanding accounts receivable across all divisions and follow up directly with customers on aged accounts receivable
• Assist with new customer onboarding process into internal finance system
• Coordinate with internal departments on their outstanding accounts receivable to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
• Research reasons for past due balances and notify customers with past due balances
• Document daily collection activity and provide regular updates via reporting in financial system
• Identify bad debt exposure to sales and the finance team
• Assist in identifying gaps and recommend improvements on collections process
• Other job-related duties as assigned

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2 - 5 years relevant work experience in Accounts Receivable department
• Strong financial acumen
• Experience working in Netsuite or similar system
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powepoint, Excel)
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and follow up
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment or identify when assistance is needed
• Ability to manage multiple projects timely and accurately
• Superior verbal and written communications skill
