Job summary

Taylor White is seeking an AR & Credit/Collections Manager in Tampa, FL. This newly created role offers end-to-end ownership of receivables, combining strategy with hands-on process improvements.

You will lead one direct report, drive automation, and collaborate with sales, IT, and finance to scale the function. The ideal candidate has a track record transforming AR/collections, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience owning AR and/or Credit and Collections functions with a track record of identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement; proactively introducing ideas and ensuring adoption.
  • Experience building automation within AR or collections workflows (e.g., automated cash application, statement sending).
  • Experience creating SOPs, policies, and process documentation.
  • Familiarity with large-scale ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage AR and Credit & Collections end-to-end, setting strategy and driving processes.
  • Assess current AR/collections workflows to identify gaps and design solutions.
  • Build automation to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, policies, and onboarding materials.
  • Propose and drive continuous improvement initiatives and gain stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, IT, and other teams; supervise AR Specialist and provide development support.
  • Present ideas effectively to Controllers and senior stakeholders; influence without direct authority.

The position was established as part of a broader restructuring that consolidated two previously separate functions — AR Management and Credit and Collections Management — into a single, more senior seat, giving the incoming leader true end-to-end ownership of the receivables function. This is not a transactional, heads-down role — it is a process-oriented, strategic position for someone who has been there and done it, knows what a well-run AR and credit function looks like, and is ready to identify gaps, drive automation, and build the systems and documentation that allow the function to scale. You will manage one direct report and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, IT, and other internal stakeholders, making a collaborative, outgoing personality and strong communication skills just as important as technical expertise. The organization is at a genuine inflection point, and the right person will have the authority and leadership support to make a meaningful, lasting impact.
