Job summary

Shimano North America Holding, Inc. is seeking an AR Credit Analyst in Irvine, CA to support cash collections, posting, and deduction management in the North American AR/Credit Department.

The role emphasizes on-time posting, KPI achievement, and collaboration with sales. The ideal candidate has strong credit/collections experience, proficiency with MS Office and AS400, and a track record of accurate reporting and process improvement.

Qualifications

• BA, BS preferred, but 10+ years experience in credit and collections acceptable.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AS400.
• Financial statement analysis, credit evaluations, and collection skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical skills, and follow-through skills.
• Must have deduction management experience.
• Well-organized, observant, self-starter, managing various projects simultaneously with little oversight.

Responsibilities

• Focus on achieving monthly collection KPI goals of 90% current and no more than 4% >30 days delinquent.
• Post cash accurately on the day received and reconcile daily.
• Aim to reduce >30-day delinquent totals year over year.
• Understand breakouts of deductions by payment plan vs. credits.
• Manage chargebacks by type and status within portfolio.
• Provide a customer-focused, sales-oriented approach in all interactions.
• Maintain documentation flow to sales and COD management.
• Provide expertise on program deals and deduction patterns.
• Identify valid vs invalid deductions within 30 days and clear or dispute accordingly.
• Provide monthly status updates to Corporate Credit Manager and Sales.
• Store all contract documents securely for Coop, Warranty, and related items.
