Job summary

Tennova Healthcare- North Knoxville Medical Center is seeking a Manager, Accounts Receivable Contracts to oversee a team responsible for coding, testing, and maintaining managed care contracts within the contract management system. You will ensure terms align with legal documents and support contract modeling with the Reimbursement Administrator.

You will liaise with Managed Care and financial managers to improve revenue cycle processes and ensure accurate contract reimbursement calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
• 4–6 years of experience in managed care contract administration, accounts receivable, or related field required.
• 1–3 years of prior leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and supports the performance of team members to meet departmental and corporate objectives.
• Manages contract implementation in the contract management system, including coding updates for new service definitions and rate changes.
• Ensures accurate interpretation and programming of contract language reflecting negotiated rate structures.
• Troubleshoots issues and guides contract modeling with stakeholders.
• Monitors coding updates (ICD, CPT, DRG) and assesses impact on contract terms.
