Job summary

The Christ Hospital seeks a Managed Care Contract Manager to oversee payor contracts from negotiation through renewal, applying data-driven insights to optimize reimbursement and ensure revenue integrity. You will work with the Payor Relations and Revenue Cycle teams to align with the organization’s managed care strategy.

Responsibilities include portfolio management, specialty contracting, CLM workflow modernization, and SFAs for out-of-network cases.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration preferred; Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience in negotiation, contract management, or payor relations required.
• 3-5 years of healthcare system or payer environment experience; experience in reimbursement negotiations preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and contract yield projection skills; advanced Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio management of payor contracts; ensure alignment with pricing strategy.
• Directs specialty contracting initiatives, including COE and bundled payment arrangements.
• Modernizes contract documentation and CLM workflow; tracks important dates and terms.
• Verifies uniform protection of the broader managed care fiscal framework across agreements.
• Negotiate and structure Single Case Agreements for out-of-network scenarios.
