TEGNA Inc. is seeking a Collections Specialist to join the Shared Services team. The role, based at our NBC Affiliate in Indianapolis (WTHR), involves contacting customers to ensure timely payments and coordinating with station staff to minimize write-offs.

Your day will include reviewing AR reports, resolving issues, and communicating with the Credit team, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year degree required.
• Experience handling hundreds of AR accounts.
• Broadcast industry experience preferred.
• Proficient with WideOrbit software.

Responsabilités

• Perform collection activity including reviewing accounts receivable reports and daily balances.
• Engage in investigation and resolution of customer issues with timely follow-up.
• Plan and execute periodic calls with station personnel to review balances and actions.
• Prepare reporting and analysis for review by others.
