Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join the Enterprise Financial Services team. The role focuses on billing and collection activities for multiple groups, with direct customer contact and collaboration with sales and finance teams.

This on-site position will be located at the Richardson Lakeside Blvd office and involves handling confidential financial information in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, or sales activities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Experience with Microsoft Applications, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Direct customer contact of delinquent accounts to optimize cash flow.
• Develop relationships with the sales organization and customers.
• Develop and execute action plans to resolve delinquent accounts.
• Evaluate collection activity results and escalate as needed.
• Process required information on customer and/or third-party websites to facilitate payment.
• Work with management to resolve customer discrepancies or disputes.
• Identify EDI, pricing, tracking, and process issues causing delayed payments.
• Coordinate with stores, branches, customers, and customer service teams on issues impacting business opportunities.
