Job summary

RYZ Labs, a Nashville-based disaster-recovery-focused company, invites you to join its remote accounting team, working with US and Latam colleagues. You’ll focus on AR/collections, invoicing, and payroll during month-end close, while collaborating with leadership including the CFO.

You’ll use Excel and emerging AI tools to improve processes, participate in cross-training, and grow toward finance leadership within a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or AR/AP experience, including invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Direct collections experience.
• Excellent spoken and written English; you'll be on the phone with American customers and insurance adjusters daily.
• Willingness to work a delayed morning/ afternoon-shift with overlap of US Central Time hours.
• High accuracy at high volume; you catch your own errors and maintain detail.
• Professionalism under pressure: firm on past-due balances.
• Proficiency in Excel; curiosity about AI tools and learning new systems fast.
• Preferred: Experience collecting from or billing US customers or insurance carriers.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in real workflows.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable & Collections: manage AR aging and drive resolution of aged receivables.
• Invoice Processing & Billing: generate, review, and send invoices; process payments.
• Payroll & Month-End Close: process payroll entries and assist close calendar.
• Accounts Payable: enter and reconcile vendor invoices and maintain vendor data.
