CFS in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an experienced AR Billing Supervisor to lead the accounts receivable and customer billing function. This role focuses on accurate invoicing, payment application, and monitoring receivables within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will oversee daily billing operations, partner with project teams, and support monthly cycles while maintaining strong customer relationships and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or accounting experience.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience with construction billing or job costing is a plus.
• Experience using Viewpoint Vista or similar construction ERP is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable and customer billing process.
• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices based on contracts, project progress, and completed services.
• Apply customer payments (ACH, checks, wire transfers, credit cards).
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Communicate billing questions, payment discrepancies, and collections, maintaining relationships.
• Partner with project managers and operations to resolve billing issues and ensure timely invoicing.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate billing discrepancies.
• Support monthly billing cycles, reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Generate and distribute customer account statements.
• Assist with collections and maintain documentation for billing and payment activity.
• Prepare lien waivers and other project-related billing docs when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accurate financial records.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
