Home Comfort Experts in Indiana is seeking an Accounting Administrative Specialist to support the Controller with billing and collections in a service-based environment. This role ensures revenue is entered into Intacct for the month and business unit.

You will handle invoicing, aging, and collections; collaborate with project managers and sales to set up customers, process payments, and maintain AR subledger. The position offers hourly pay $25-$27 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on billing or accounts receivable experience in a service-based environment.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams to resolve billing issues.
• Experience handling inquiries and resolving invoice discrepancies professionally.
• Ability to maintain positive customer relationships while addressing payments.

Responsibilities

• Billing: review invoices, verify information, and send to clients for new work; manage aging and discrepancies.
• Administrative: provide daily/weekly reports, process deposits, monitor accounts payable and AR subledger.
• Collections: coordinate with project managers, contact customers, and ensure timely payments.
