Job summary

Who Gives A Crap is seeking an AR & AP Lead to oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable operations within the Financial Operations team. You will ensure accurate books, timely customer payments, and timely supplier payments, while mentoring two direct reports and driving KPI reporting.

You’ll work closely with the CFO and exec team to improve close processes, manage risks, and enhance financial controls in a purpose-led scale-up.

Qualifications

• Experience leading AR/AP operations and month-end close.
• Strong ability to build KPIs and reporting for executives.
• Coaching and developing a small finance team.

Responsibilities

• Pull monthly AR ageing report for CFO and exec team and plan follow-up.
• Review weekly payments file and funding summary before approval.
• Flag at-risk customer accounts and coordinate with customer-facing team.
• Close books accurately and on time at month-end; escalate risks.
• Collaborate with AP Coordinator to streamline AP processes.
