Job summary

Clearwater Shower Bath, a growing Florida home-remodeling company, seeks an Accounting Clerk to manage day-to-day accounts receivable and payable. You will keep accurate records, process invoices, and help improve workflows using Excel/Google Sheets and digital tools.

This role emphasizes systematizing processes, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with the finance team. Onsite schedule is Monday–Friday with a stable, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in AP/AR (high-volume preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Clear written/verbal communication with customers and vendors.
• Working knowledge of accounting basics (credits/debits, reconciliations).

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments and maintain client billing records.
• Prepare project invoices; track deposits and progress payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Proactively follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collections.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure proper approval.
• Prepare payment batches for controller review.
• Maintain vendor files and reconcile statements.
• Monitor and track project-related expenses.
• Process payments to service providers and suppliers.
• Assistance with filing and organizing financial documentation.
• Support month-end close processes.
• Help prepare financial reports and analysis.
• Maintain organized records for project expenses.
