Job summary

Great Northern Corporation is seeking an Accounting Clerk to compile and maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable records in accordance with GAAP. You will assist with timely invoicing of sales transactions and support clerical duties as needed.

Onsite, Monday–Friday, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork. This role offers growth within a stable manufacturing environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer; applies debits and credits as appropriate.
• Maintains the banking transaction register.
• Generates invoices after reviewing delivery receipts for accuracy and posts invoicing transactions daily.
• Generates invoicing files for sales tax calculation and ensures accurate sales tax on all invoices.
• Audits purchase orders with invoices, bills of lading, and/or shipping documents for accuracy.
