Job summary

Remedy Medical Properties, headquartered in Chicago, IL, seeks an AR Administrator to support accounts receivable operations across the firm’s healthcare real estate portfolio. The role handles lockbox processing, tenant payments, and Yardi-based lease administration in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 1 year of accounting admin experience, with strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education required.
• 1+ years of previous accounting administrative experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft based software.
• Working knowledge of Yardi accounting software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer the accounts receivable process: scan tenant receipts when not collected with the lockbox, manage the lockbox online system, obtain the tenant receipt upload files and apply against tenant charges in the Yardi system
• Complete daily bank reconciliation
• Review and apply tenant payments received through daily bank reports to the tenants account
• Assist with collection of rent payments to the office and process in-house check deposits
• Research, analyze, and resolve complex payment application issues in a timely and professional manner
• Manage lease administration within the Yardi system and deliver tenant charges to management for review; correspond with management regarding monthly tenant billings collect management approved charges and generate monthly tenant billings and send out monthly tenant rent statements
• Assist with opening bank accounts for newly acquired real estate assets
• Answer email requests in a timely fashion and communicate appropriately
• Provide support to the accounting management team
• Complete additional projects as assigned

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education required
• 1+ years of previous accounting administrative experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft based software
• Working knowledge of Yardi accounting software
• Prior employment history demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities, and to produce detailed, accurate results in a highly organized manner

$21-23 hourly range, based on experience plus benefits and bonus.
