Insight Global's client in Chattanooga, TN seeks an Accounting Manager (Accounts Receivable) to lead the day-to-day AR function onsite, supervising the AR team and overseeing a receivables portfolio exceeding $85M in annual billings.

The role focuses on optimizing collections, partnering with accounting, operations, and customer service to resolve invoice discrepancies, and driving automation across AR processes and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of AR experience required; 7-10+ years preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience within an AR environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day AR operations, collections, billing, and cash reconciliation activities.
• Manage and mentor the AR Supervisor while supporting field-based AR personnel.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer billing and collections-related issues.
• Partner with Customer Service, Operations, and Accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies and drive timely collections.
• Oversee customer-specific billing requirements, including invoice submission through customer portals.
• Manage integrated receivables processes, including lockbox relationships and automated invoice matching solutions.
• Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and automation across the AR function.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships and AR-related service providers.
