Job summary

City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department seeks an Aquatics Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain pools, waterparks, and related features, ensuring safe operation per health standards. This role involves handling pumps, filters, chemical feeders, and safety-critical equipment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of aquatic facility maintenance experience, and a Texas Class C driver's license. CPO or AFO certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain pumps, motors, chemical feeders and pool equipment.
• Test and adjust water chemistry to meet health standards.
• Performs winterization and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect facilities for hazards and complete checklists.
• Maintain pool masonry and surfaces for safety and appearance.
• Troubleshoot water circulation and filtration systems.
• Collaborate with team to meet department goals.
