The City of Dallas is seeking an Aquatic Maintenance Trainee to assist with the upkeep of pools, waterparks, and aquatic facilities to ensure safe operation under health standards. You will work under supervision in the Parks and Recreation Department to support repairs, cleaning, testing, and routine maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 6 months of related maintenance experience, plus a Texas Class C driver's license.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience in general aquatic facility maintenance or related trade.
• Texas Class C driver’s license required.
• Minimum Qualification Notation: include education, experience, and licenses in the application (not just attachments).

Responsabilidades

• Assist aquatic technicians in maintenance and repair of pumps, motors and pool equipment.
• Clean and maintain facilities: vacuuming, skimming, baskets, decks, slides, and filters.
• Perform water chemistry tests to maintain proper balance.
• Complete inspection checklists, inventories and required docs.
• Make minor repairs to facilities and equipment as needed.
• Contribute to team to meet department goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
