Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus is seeking a full-time Aquatic Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Aquatics Department. You may also rotate into Lifeguard and Swim Instructing roles as needed.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety rules, supervising staff, coordinating swim programs, and maintaining water quality in compliance with Health Department standards. Requires a High School diploma and ARC Lifeguard and WSI certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to teach, communicate, and work with people of all ages.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in supervising aquatic staff is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enforce pool rules and supervise lifeguards.
• Coordinate swim lessons and aquatic programs.
• Monitor water safety and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the pool area.
• Supervise and direct Lifeguard and Swim Instructor staff on duty.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
