Job summary

Water Country in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to oversee safety and guest experience across aquatic areas. You will supervise lifeguards, coordinate shifts, train staff, and ensure compliance with Ellis & Associates standards to deliver a secure, enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Ideal candidates have lifeguard experience, are at least 18, and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age per NH Labor Laws.
• 1-2 years of lifeguard experience preferred.
• Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training Program completed before lifeguarding.
• Ability to work flexible hours: evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Must be guest-focused and able to lead a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Aquatics team and lifeguards.
• Lead by example and coach assigned team members.
• Assist with hiring, training, performance coaching, and discipline.
• Ensure lifeguard rotations meet Ellis & Associates standards.
• Oversee pre-opening/closing checks and zone coverage.
