Job summary

Collier County is seeking an active, detail‑oriented individual to implement and supervise an aquatics program at Sun‑Fun Lagoon. You will organize activities, supervise participants, recruit and register attendees, and ensure safety and orderly operation of all sessions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and lifeguard credentials; fingerprinting is required. The position involves interaction with the public, event coordination, and record keeping, with opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Must possess CPR and First Aid certifications.
• May be required to possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License with applicable endorsements.
• Must possess Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.
• Water Safety Instructor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and sets up aquatics programs and activities; supervises activities; resolves issues during programs.
• Enforces safety rules; may serve as lifeguard at pools.
• Greets the public at the front desk; answers calls; handles fees and cash drawer.
• Plans and maintains records and reports for daily activities and participant registrations.
• Assists with event planning, contracts, and coordination of program needs.
• Operates equipment and manages routine office tasks related to program operations.
