Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking an Aquatics Manager for a premier client site in Racine, WI. You will oversee all operational, administrative, and programming aspects of the aquatics facility and lead the team to deliver safe, high-quality experiences for members.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of supervisory aquatic experience, a Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED certification, and strong leadership and customer service skills. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience.
• 2+ years aquatic experience including supervisory responsibility.
• Lifeguard with First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross (if not current will be required within 30 days).
• Ability to lead and operate a community recreation or fitness facility.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work demands.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Availability to work some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational, administrative, and programming aspects of the aquatic facility.
• Recruiting, onboarding, training, evaluating, developing, and succession planning.
• Lead staff meetings and provide coaching for program and service delivery.
• Prepare payroll records and billing worksheets in accordance with policy.
• Assist in developing yearly strategic plan and operating budget.
• Track participant and program data to measure outcomes.
• Coordinate marketing and community events to maximize engagement.
