Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Manager to support the Aquatics Manager in overseeing Family Swim hours, swim lessons, swim team, Masters Swim and related programs.

You will help ensure safe operations and sound financial performance while directing all department team members. This hourly role requires at least some college, 1 year of customer service, supervisory/management, swim instruction/coaching, and lifeguard experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include ability to swim 300 yards/meters, tread water for 1 minute, and retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool.
• Education: Some College experience.
• Years of Experience: 1 year of customer service, 1 year of supervisory/management, 1 year of swim instruction/coaching, 2 years lifeguard experience.

Responsibilities

• Helps to cast, train and develop all Aquatics Team Members
• Helps to manage the financials of the Aquatics business to meet or exceed department goals
• Ensures Aquatics Team Members offer a safe and friendly experience for members and guests
• Responds to all member inquiries in a professional way
