Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Manager in Gainesville, VA to support the Aquatics Manager in running Family Swim, Swim Lessons, Swim Team and more. You will help ensure safe, engaging programs and oversee department finances and staff.

The role requires lifeguard certification, swimming ability, and supervisory experience; offers hourly pay from 21.50 to 31.00, full benefits for full-time team members, and a path to lead a dynamic aquatic team.

Qualifications

• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Lifeguard/CPR certifications and related licenses are required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Helps to cast, train and develop all Aquatics Team Members.
• Helps to manage the financials of the Aquatics business to meet or exceed department goals.
• Ensures Aquatics Team Members offers a safe and friendly experience for our members and guests.
• Responds to all member inquiries in a professional way.
