Zusammenfassung

Bend Park & Recreation District is seeking an Aquatic Coordinator to lead aquatic programs and facilities, primarily in the evenings and on weekends. The role requires supervising staff, ensuring safety, managing operations, and collaborating with partners to deliver high-quality aquatic services.

The position supports planning, scheduling, and staff development, with potential duties as Lifeguard or Swim Instructor. Regular weekend work and a year-round schedule are expected.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Two years related work experience with at least one year of team lead experience.
• Any satisfactory combination of education, experience and training.

Aufgaben

• Supervises aquatic programs and facilities ensuring quality, safety and customer service.
• Leads front line aquatic staff and coordinates shifts.
• Communicates program information with staff, volunteers, coaches and patrons.
• Ensures safety/risk management and reports incidents per procedures.
• Assists with planning, marketing, and evaluating aquatic programs.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and facilities used.
• May work as Lifeguard or Swim Instructor as needed.
