Job summary

Elon University seeks an Aquatics Coordinator to lead the Slattery Center Pool and Mill Point pool operations. You will supervise staff, ensure safety compliance, and develop inclusive aquatic programs for students, faculty, staff, families, and community members.

Reporting to the Slattery Center Operations Manager, you will support wellness initiatives and oversee programming that aligns with Elon’s holistic well-being mission and bold campus plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; two years leading aquatic facilities or programs.
• Experience recruiting, training, and scheduling aquatics staff.
• Strong knowledge of aquatic safety, pool operations, and lifeguard programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Slattery Center Pool and Mill Point pool.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate aquatic staff.
• Develop and implement diverse aquatic programs for campus and community.
