Job summary

CENTERS, LLC is seeking a Coordinator, Aquatics to manage the UMSL natatorium with the Assistant Director, Facilities and Aquatics. You’ll oversee operations, scheduling, staff supervision, and risk management for the department, aiming to deliver excellent client service and program quality.

You’ll develop policies, manage budgets, and coordinate safety trainings, certifications, and program offerings, while partnering with campus stakeholders and vendors to support holistic student engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in aquatics.
• Experience in collegiate/community recreation environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee natatorium operation and scheduling.
• Supervise aquatic staff and lifeguards.
• Manage safety trainings and emergency drills.
• Coordinate lesson programs and ARC certification courses.
• Maintain records for staff certifications.
• Develop policies in line with CENTERS standards.
