Fishers YMCA is seeking an Associate Director of Aquatics to oversee program development, frontline operations, and staff supervision within the Aquatics department. The role balances daily operations with strategic administration to meet Center and Association goals.

You will supervise program implementation, ensure safety compliance, and drive staff scheduling and training while maintaining high service standards and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years in a leadership role within aquatics.
• CPR, First Aid, Lifeguarding certifications required.
• YMCA Pool Operator training or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Aquatics department.
• Develop, promote, implement and evaluate aquatic programs.
• Schedule staff and provide training and supervision.
• Monitor safety and adherence to standards and financial policies.
