Job summary

The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is seeking candidates for Program Support (Aquatics) to assist in aquatic programs and customer service support at Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center. Ideal candidates will have a background in aquatics and feel comfortable assisting in program administration.

The district also offers a bilingual pay incentive to staff who regularly utilize their bilingual skills!

Qualifications

• Two years in an aquatic specialty area.
• High school diploma plus two years of specialized training equivalent to college coursework.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate activities to meet program objectives, including developing work plans and schedules.
• Develop and implement program curriculum and provide direction to part-time staff.
• Coordinate center activities with other District programs and external agencies, serving as a liaison to program committees, private industry, and the community.
• Foster a program atmosphere that promotes inclusion and ensures a positive experience for participants.
