Job summary

Life Time seeks an Aquatics Supervisor to oversee operations in our state-of-the-art pools, indoors and outdoors. You will manage and train Aquatics Department team members and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining clean, orderly facilities.

Responsibilities include ensuring a safe environment, addressing member inquiries, delivering high-quality programming, and promoting the Life Time swim program. Relevant lifeguard and CPR certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete and pass all Life Time courses when hired.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs.

Job description

Position Summary

As the Aquatics Supervisor, you must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will help members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. This position assists in managing and training all Aquatics Department Team Members. You will offer great customer service and maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience

• 6 months of customer service experience
• 1 year coaching and/or swim instructor experience
• 1 year of lifeguarding experience
• 6 months of head guard or supervising experience

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first). For Canada, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification and Standard FA with CPR C.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college or working towards a 4 year degree
