Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Physical Education, Recreation Management or Health Sciences.
• Three years of experience as an Assistant Pool Manager at a comparable club.
• Lifeguard training and experience teaching swim lessons are required.
• Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff.
• Maintains proper chemical balance and pool equipment with maintenance.
• Registers members and handles lessons, fees and scheduling.
• Plans and directs swim and diving lessons and coaches teams.
• Ensures safety and compliance with OSHA and Red Cross standards.
