Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs seeks an Aquatic Coordinator to oversee all aspects of the Aquatics Program at a designated location. You will lead hiring, scheduling and training of lifeguards, instructors and pool staff, and ensure excellent member service and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating classes, maintaining pool facilities, preparing weekly reports, promoting programs, and reporting to the Aquatics Director.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Aquatics Program for a Genesis location, including hiring, recruiting, scheduling and training new aquatic staff.
• Train all instructors to teach safe and effective classes and to help, assist, motivate and retain members.
• Organize and schedule all group classes; maintain equipment, pool and storage areas.
• Prepare and discuss weekly aquatic reports with the aquatic director; promote all classes and events.
