Job summary

YMCA of Greater Louisville is seeking a party coordinator/attendant to assist with setup and coordination of daytime and evening events. You will communicate with parents and staff to ensure a positive experience for members and guests.

The role emphasizes keeping a welcoming atmosphere, posting signage, coordinating with waterpark staff, and updating the party calendar. You may lead age-appropriate activities and participate in staff trainings as required.

• Able to observe, direct and welcome members and guests of all ages.
• Ability to build relationships with children, parents and coworkers and deliver welcoming, service-oriented experiences.

Responsibilities

• Posting party signage and preparing designated space; coordinating with waterpark staff on upcoming parties and day-of communications with guests.
• Communicates with Aquatic Directors and aquatic staff to identify party needs.
• Present during parties to obtain usage waivers and assist with guest check-in.
• Provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
• Assist Aquatic Program Director in updating the party calendar.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings; lead/assist age-appropriate activities when needed.
