Goldfish Swim School - Rochester is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, cash handling, customer service, and retail/vending activities. You will manage the aquatics team and ensure high standards of service across programs.

The role requires leadership capabilities, lifeguard/CPR certifications, and prior management or supervisory experience. This position offers opportunities for advancement and a dynamic, student-friendly workplace.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills required.
• Must pass background examinations (training provided).
• Lifeguard training and certification required or obtainable during training.

Responsibilities

• Directs and controls daily operations according to GSS SOPs.
• Manages staff to ensure high productivity and employee satisfaction.
• Trains aquatics department to provide quality swim instruction.
• Gains knowledge of bookings, scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Oversees workplace activities to improve employee satisfaction.
• Maintains up-to-date certifications in aquatics and management.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned.
