Carowinds is seeking an Area Manager of Aquatics to ensure safe and efficient operation of Carolina Harbor attractions. You will hire, lead, and manage talent day to day, coordinating with other divisional managers to complete tasks and projects and assist in other departments.

The role emphasizes supervision, training, budgeting, and policy compliance to deliver outstanding guest experiences while maintaining high safety standards across all aquatic areas.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of experience in a theme park or water park operations.
• Eligibility to obtain Ellis & Associates Lifeguard credentials.
• CPR and First Aid certification with ability to maintain current status.
• HS Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee Carolina Harbor water attractions operations and act as duty Manager for Aquatics.
• Lead staff scheduling, training, and performance through seasonal hires.
• Set up and winterize rides, ensuring safety, staffing, and guest service.
• Coordinate with other departments and enforce SOPs during emergencies.
• Assist with budgeting and cost controls for the Aquatics Department.
• Communicate safety concerns to leadership and ensure policy compliance.
