Job summary

Colorado Mesa University is seeking an Aquatics Coordinator to manage the daily operations of the El Pomar Natatorium, including lifeguard scheduling, safety protocols, and event coordination. The role requires coordinating with Athletics, Kinesiology, and external vendors to ensure smooth pool operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of aquatic experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and certifications (CPO, CPR, First Aid).

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of aquatic experience, preferably in a university setting.
• Bachelor’s degree required in facility management, sports management, or related field.
• Certifications: CPO, CPR and First Aid.
• Experience managing pool facilities and pump room operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of El Pomar Natatorium.
• Schedule lifeguards and ensure safety procedures.
• Coordinate swim meets and events.
• Coordinate with Athletics, Kinesiology, and external vendors.
