Job summary

Midtown Athletic Club is seeking an Aquatics Manager to lead our world‑class aquatics team on site at Bannockburn, IL. The role focuses on developing talent, engaging members, and delivering top‑tier programs.

You will oversee program development, coach engagement, and budget management while upholding Midtown’s service standards and core values. This salaried position offers a competitive compensation package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Have five or more years of management, talent development, and programming experience.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Possess nationally recognized certifications in aquatics including: AFO or equivalent, CPR/AED, First Aid.
• Possess ability to provide multisensory instruction: auditory, visual, tactile, kinesthetic.
• Possess the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely.
• Have collaborative team-building and performance management capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a salaried role with an annual compensation range of 48,000 - 52,000. Addition hourly compensation of $20- $24 per hour may be earned as an Aquatics coach for our swim program. The final offered compensation will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
