Job summary

Midtown is seeking an Aquatics Coach to support our weekend programs and member services. You will lead, motivate, and supervise participants of all ages, delivering engaging safety-conscious instruction.

You will develop and maintain aquatics spaces, implement our programs, and promote private lessons, aiming to build a welcoming, healthy community through movement and social engagement.

Qualifications

• Have competitive swimming background or competitive swim coach experience.
• Possess current lifeguard and water safety instructor certifications (American Red Cross preferred).
• Possess ability to provide multisensory instruction: auditory, visual, tactile, kinesthetic.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely.

The Position

As an integral part of the aquatics team, our Aquatics Coaches inspire members of all ages through movement, community, and personal attention. They encourage active, social, and healthier lives by:

• Developing, delivering, and measuring our aquatics programs

Our Aquatics Coaches:
