Job summary

The City of Dallas is seeking a Supervisor of Aquatic Maintenance to oversee the upkeep of pools, waterparks, and water features. You will coordinate staff, plan maintenance schedules, ensure safety and health standards, and manage resources across multiple aquatic facilities.

Ideal candidates bring extensive aquatic facility maintenance experience, supervisory background, and required certifications such as CPO and Manager of Pool Operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Six years of experience in aquatic facility maintenance with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Certifications: CPO, Manager of Pool Operations; TX Class C license; ability to obtain UV system certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision to aquatic staff and ensure safe maintenance.
• Plan, coordinate, and assign tasks; manage equipment, vehicles, and materials.
• Oversee implementation of maintenance plans and schedules; motivate staff for quality work.
• Conduct training and manage seasonal pool maintenance.
• Organize work priorities and project schedules; allocate resources.
• Review work quality and evaluate staff performance; recommend awards.
• Develop methods to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Perform other duties to support division activities.
