Job summary

The City of Temple, TX is seeking a part-time Pool Manager to oversee safe operations and supervise the aquatics team. This leadership role requires flexible hours, weekends, and holidays within the aquatics division.

Responsibilities include supervising daily pool operations, training lifeguards, scheduling, and handling front desk operations. Strong knowledge of water safety and CPR/AED procedures is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two summer seasons of lifeguard experience.
• One summer of experience in an Assistant Manager role.
• Knowledge of water safety practices and usage of water safety equipment.
• Pass swimming skills test and basic water safety practices test.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages daily pool operations; maintains a clean and safe facility.
• Assists in planning, training, evaluating lifeguards and monitoring pool programming.
• Generates schedules, lifeguard rotations, and daily assignments.
