Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Manager to lead our Aquatics department, overseeing programs, staffing, safety, and customer experience across locations.

You will manage budgets, hire and train lifeguards, instructors, and coaches, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering exceptional member service. You will register Members for Swim Programs and supervise a fast-paced team, with opportunities to advance into regional leadership.

Qualifications

• 1) 2 years of customer service experience.
• 2) 2 years of coaching and/or swim instructor experience.
• 3) 2 years of lifeguarding experience.
• 4) 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• 5) Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• 6) Ability to lift 20 lbs repeatedly and move about the club.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supports all Aquatics Team Members.
• Completes daily inspections to ensure pool area is clean and safe.
• Facilitates lifeguard training on pool safety and rescue techniques during monthly in-services.
• Assesses performance, provides feedback, and coaches Aquatics Team Members.
• Manages the aquatics department within budget guidelines.
• Formulates, monitors and reconciles the budget and financial reports for aquatics programs.
• Sets the standard for the Aquatics Department by providing exceptional customer service.
