Job summary

La Crosse Area Family YMCA is hiring an Aquatics Director to oversee the lifeguard team, lead certification and training courses, and manage daily aquatic center operations across both branches. You will support high-quality aquatic programs for members and participants.

The role requires supervisory experience in an aquatic/fitness setting, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and certifications in lifeguarding and first aid. This is an on-site position with full YMCA benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in recreation, fitness, or related field preferred.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience in an aquatic/fitness program.
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certified for the Professional Rescuer.
• Certified Lifeguard.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
