Job summary

NorthRiver Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, AL seeks an Aquatics Manager to lead all pool operations, ensure safety and cleanliness, and oversee staff and programming. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years as an Assistant Pool Manager, with lifeguard certification and ability to teach lessons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience as an Assistant Pool Manager at a club of comparable size.
• Lifeguard training and experience teaching swim lessons required.
• Private club experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the overall performance of pool operations and safety compliance.
• Supervises, trains and evaluates pool staff; manages weekly schedules.
• Maintains chemical balance and pool equipment; coordinates with maintenance.
• Manages member registrations, lesson signups and guest charges.
• Ensures excellent guest service and handles customer concerns promptly.
