Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus college coursework; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience and 1 year lifeguarding/teaching swim lessons.
• Experience with competitive swimming and meet operations is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge of water rescue, CPR, First Aid, AED; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facility personnel and help assign duties and schedules.
• Lead instruction to students/guests on swimming, water exercise and safety; supervise drills.
• Provide lifeguard services, water safety instruction, and swim lessons as needed.
• Develop and implement swimming and lifeguard training plans; coordinate drills and practice sessions.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies; maintain a clean, safe facility.
