Job summary

The ideal candidate will have strong swimming skills, knowledge of CPR and First Aid, and must hold an International Lifeguard Training Program license. The position requires physical stamina and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old; age 16 preferred.
• Ability to swim 200 yards nonstop, retrieve a 10-pound brick, and tread water for 2 minutes.
• Must possess knowledge of rescue skills and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming pool activities to maintain safety for guests.
• Enforce pool rules and respond to guest concerns.
• Identify pool health and safety issues and respond accordingly.
