Job summary

Role Description

The Aquatic Program Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role located in Canton, GA, responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising aquatic programs and activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and scheduling swim lessons, aquatic fitness classes, and special events; coordinating lifeguard and instructor coverage; and ensuring safe, well-maintained pool facilities. The role includes supervising staff, supporting recruitment and training, monitoring program participation, and responding to participant inquiries and feedback. The coordinator collaborates with other agency staff to promote aquatic programs, maintain high customer service standards, and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.

• Relevant certifications such as Lifeguard, CPR/First Aid, and Water Safety Instructor, or willingness to obtain them.
• Preferred education in Recreation Management, Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
