Claytoncountyga is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Parks and Recreation Carl Rhodenizer Center. This role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing aquatic and recreational programs for diverse populations and managing staff and volunteers.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR - P & R
CLASSIFICATION TITLE: PROGRAM COORDINATOR
PURPOSE OF CLASSIFICATION
The purpose of this classification is to assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing aquatic and recreational programs for diverse populations and activities for citizens throughout the Clayton County. Work also involves supervising and hiring part‑time staff, instructors, and volunteers for the aquatics facilities in the County.

Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration preferred; supplemented by one (1) year of previous experience and/or training that includes recreational and athletic programming; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
