Job summary

Rankenjordan is seeking an Aquatic Therapy Assistant to support outpatient clinical and administrative staff in therapy gyms and the therapeutic pool. You will help with cleaning, equipment setup, and patient assistance under supervision.

The role includes water-based support, safety monitoring in the pool, coordinating coverage, and assisting with administrative tasks such as charting and scheduling in Cerner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card from the American Heart Association.
• Organizational skills and pediatric setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in cleaning and organizing therapy and programming spaces and equipment.
• Provides hands-on assistance to patients during therapy sessions under therapist direction.
• Assists in maintaining safety and support during aquatic therapy sessions.
• Performs administrative tasks including fax, file, copy, and scheduling support in Cerner.
