Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Leisure Services, or related field with 2+ years supervisory experience.
• An AA with 5+ years in Parks and Recreation including aquatics may substitute for the Bachelor's, with degree earned within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages North County Aquatic Center operations and oversees staff.
• Schedules staff and processes timesheets; manages leave requests.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of aquatic facilities and grounds.
• Trains and evaluates lifeguards and guest services staff; maintains proper certifications.
• Oversees admissions, cash handling, and reconciliation.
• Responds to patron concerns and emergencies; reports to leadership as required.
