Job summary

ADAM'S SPECIALTY PRODUCTS, LLC is seeking an entry-level service specialist to maintain aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The role requires basic tools knowledge, physical work, and a willingness to travel within 150 miles of Wilkesboro, NC.

A part-time schedule averages 10–20 hours monthly, with shifts typically between 8am and 7pm. Pay starts at $25.00 per hour with mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with keeping fish and/or birds is preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions in English.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to handle tools as needed.
• Willingness to travel within a service radius and flexible scheduling.
• High school education is preferred.

Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted livings facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting, bending, and heavy physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 10-20 hours a month.

Travel in a 150 mile radius of Wilkesboro, NC will be required using a personal vehicle.

(Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid during driving)

Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required.

Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.

• Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English.
• Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities.
• Able to travel in your service area radius
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required.
• Flexibility is a must!
• High School education is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10-20 hours a month but will vary from week to week depending on what accounts are due.
