Job summary

ADAM'S SPECIALTY PRODUCTS, LLC in Fort Smith, AR is seeking an entry-level Service Assistant to service aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This role requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly, with some heavy lifting.

Hours are part-time and typically 8am–7pm, averaging 5–10 hours per month. Travel within a 150-mile radius is required with mileage reimbursement; driving time is not paid. A professional appearance and reliable attendance are essential.

Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Heavy lifting, bending, and many physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 5-10 hours a month.

Travel in a 150 mile radius of Fort Smith, AR will be required. Current furthest account is Fayetteville, AR about 60 Miles. Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid during driving.

Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required.

Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.

• Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English

Job Type: Part-time
